About the Project

Transforming education for a sustainable future

"Sustainable Steps for Carbon-Free Tomorrows" is a 24-month Erasmus+ KA210-SCH project, spanning from November 2025 to November 2027, launched to generate concrete solutions to today's greatest global challenges, such as the climate crisis and environmental pollution, directly from school desks. Under the coordination of Poland, this strategic partnership joins the forces of schools from Türkiye, Italy, and Portugal, aiming to transform our institutions into "green hubs" by sharing expertise in water conservation (Poland), recycling and waste management (Türkiye), renewable energy (Italy), and digitalization in education (Portugal). Our primary vision is to encourage individuals to adopt sustainable lifestyles rather than focusing solely on technological innovations, to minimize natural resource consumption through digital transformation tools, and to reduce the carbon footprint of our institutions by 10% within two years. Through this international knowledge exchange, we aim to equip our students and teachers with the "green skills" that will shape the future.

Our Main Goals

10% Carbon Reduction

To decrease the carbon footprint of our partner schools by 10% within two years by improving recycling rates, water efficiency, and energy conservation.

The Four Pillars of Our Strategy

Water Conservation (Poland)

Strategies for efficient water use and water recovery.

Waste Management (Türkiye)

Increasing recycling rates and promoting a "Zero Waste" philosophy.

Renewable Energy (Italy)

Exploring energy efficiency and green energy solutions.

Digital Innovation (Portugal)

Integrating eco-friendly digital tools into the school curriculum.
