"Sustainable Steps for Carbon-Free Tomorrows" is a 24-month Erasmus+ KA210-SCH project (Small-scale Partnerships in School Education), running from November 3, 2025, to November 2, 2027. This initiative was launched to generate concrete solutions to today’s greatest global challenges, such as the climate crisis and environmental pollution, directly from school desks. Under the coordination of Poland, this strategic partnership joins the forces of schools from Türkiye, Italy, and Portugal to transform our institutions into "green hubs"

Our primary vision is to empower students and teachers to adopt sustainable lifestyles while equipping them with the "green skills" essential for a carbon-free future. We are committed to achieving a measurable 10% reduction in our institutions' carbon footprint within two years by optimizing resource efficiency in water, energy, and waste management. To minimize the consumption of natural resources, we leverage digital transformation and Web 2.0 tools, transforming our educational environment into an innovative and paperless hub. By embedding EU values of sustainability and environmental responsibility directly into our school curriculum, we foster a generation of globally responsible individuals who are sensitive to climate challenges and actively prepared to lead restorative environmental change.

We transform our environmental vision into measurable impact through four strategic international mobilities across Portugal, Türkiye, Italy, and Poland, each focusing on a vital pillar of sustainability: digital transformation, waste management, renewable energy, and water conservation. These collaborative experiences culminate in permanent digital resources, including a scientifically-backed Joint Carbon Footprint Scale, a comprehensive Interactive E-Book documenting European best practices, and specialized thematic e-brochures for each ecological topic. By seamlessly integrating our progress into the eTwinning platform and official EU portals, we ensure that our journey toward a carbon-free future provides a scalable and inspiring blueprint for school communities worldwide
